Black and Gold Tenkara Kebari

I always have a few of these flies in my box. Whenever fish don't seem interested in the flies I've been presenting to them, out comes this guy. The result is always more fish landed.

Black and Gold Kebari

  • Hook: I use various hooks for this fly. The one pictured above is a Firehole 316.
  • Body: Thread base with holographic gold tinsel. I use medium UTC Holo Tinsel.
  • Hackle: Black dry fly hackle
  • Weight: None
  • Thread: Black. I use UTC Ultra Thread 70 denier
